Greg Huff
Head Coach
Greg Huff serves as the Head Coach and Instructor
for the Sanford Squids. He grew up swimming in Ohio and
Charlotte, competing in swim meets throughout the eastern
US.
Coach Greg was awarded a Masters Degree in Education from
North Carolina State University, as well as a Political Science
Degree. While at State, Coach Greg was a member of the water
polo team.
He has been a high school swimming coach at Southern Lee, Apex,
Sanderson, and Providence High Schools for 11 years, where he has
coached swimmers who have gone on to swim in college, all the way
up to the Olympic Trials. He has been selected as the Coach
of the Year on seven occasions.
He has always had a love of swimming, and teaching as well, making
the Squids the perfect place for his skills.
Coach Greg lives in Sanford with his wife Jennifer and their children Carson and Caroline
